A Solute to Tutors

All across the country, this week is tutors'. These are the people on the frontline, and they are some of the most important morale boosters for the students. Day in and day out, tutors give students individual attention and facilitate individualized learning. The 8 ESL tutors in our department are no exception. To mark this week-long celebration of tutors, a small area has been set up inside the ESL Tutoring Center in H-222 on the main campus where colorful blank thank you cards are available so that students can write comments to the tutors that they feel have helped them the most. The student writers can then tape their cards to a large tutor appreciation board. Please help spread the word among your students. Thank you!
