The explosion of e-reader devices, including the ever-popular iPads, has led to a sharp rise in recent years in e-books. Many such e-content products are freely available through public libraries, Amazon, and other dedicated websites. One of these sites is Free-eBooks.net, which offers several free e-books for you to download per week. They are free because the materials of dozens of genres are authored by "independent writers," like you and me. Now, if our students could find the wherewithal to take advantage of this and other reading materials, it would definitely propel them to even higher success in their language acquisition, knowledge base improvement, and lifelong learning.
