The first-ever Family Night event organized by my colleagues in the night program in San Marcos was a smashing success, combining nine non-credit classes for a gathering. Kudos to Susana, Angela, Carole, Elizabeth, Katrina, Kevin, Deidre, and Trevyan for working together for months to make this event happen. A special thanks to Marcel for volunteering to take pictures and videos at the event and produce the very professionally done movie that you see here. I hope this starts a "family" tradition that we can follow, as we-the family of us ESL faculty-believe in our hearts that we are not just having fun; we are doing what we are called to do for the families of our many students, too.
