The dept. has launched a new monthly newsletter via email. It is one for the TIDES (Things I Do Every Semester) Project, an On Course-inspired effort to engage and empower students. The early reception has been welcoming. Kevin Staff suggested putting this and other dept. newsletters here on this blog for easy access and tracking. The TIDES Team, made up of Cheryl Clarke, Suzanne Woodward, and myself, would really like to hear how you have adopted and adapted some of the TIDES ideas and used them successfully in your class.
