I want to be among the first to extend a warm welcome to our newest full time faculty member, Heather Hosaka. If you read the just-published 2016-7-12 draft agenda for the college's governing board, you will see on page 6 that they will ratify Heather's employment as an assistant professor in ESL. Already an accomplished part time faculty member at Palomar and elsewhere for years, Heather is a tremendous asset to our dept. On her part, she has expressed that she is looking forward to working more closely with the rest of us.
