Checking Out a Bias

A set of more than a dozen Implicit Association Tests, IATs for short, have been helping people be aware of their microaggressions and hidden biases, even those who claim to be free of all prejudices. These tests are both easy and fun to take, but each test is like an important magnifying glass that we need to know that elegant potted plant of ours has spider mites.
